3 Different Ways To Make A Weed Grinder – DIY Guides

If you want to get the most bang for your buck you’ve got to grind your Weed. Grinding weed nugs down into smaller chunks allows for you to get as much smoke out of your stash as possible. It also gives you a smoother, better burn than just torching an entire, un-ground nug. And while grinders are easy to find and relatively cheap, there are times when you can’t get down to the nearest smoke shop to buy one. This article will show you 3 ways to make a grinder at home.

Scissors and a Shot Glass

This is one of the most straightforward methods. Simply drop your nug into a shot glass then use your small sharp scissors to chop it apart. You can pretty much go nuts chopping up the herb into smaller and smaller pieces. But be careful that you don’t go so crazy you start sending little pieces of herb flying out of the glass and all over the place.

Once you’ve got your herb broken down to the consistency you’re looking for, carefully pour it out of the shot glass and into your bowl, your rolling paper, or whatever else you’re using to puff.

Electric Blender

This one’s another simple and straightforward way to make your weed grinder right at home. Drop your herb into a small electric coffee grinder and grind away until you’ve got the desired consistency.

The only bad thing is that you sometimes need to load a decent amount of weed into the grinder for this work. Sometimes, if you only have a little bit, the grinder’s blade will simply pass right over the top of the bud, leaving it untouched and unchopped. If you run into this problem, you can also try gently shaking the grinder so that the nug moves into the path of the blade.

When you’re done, pour out the herb. And don’t forget to carefully get all the powdery kief that falls off the nug while it’s getting chopped up.

The Coin and the PVC container – The Peny Grinder

For those wondering how to grind cannabis without a grinder – it’s not magic. Okay.. maybe a little. Grab your nearest plastic container and that dirty penny and get to work!
