How to Dry Cannabis Plants Quickly?

So you have successfully harvested your buds from mature, healthy outdoor plants. Marijuana needs a good amount of time to dry itself out, but we get it, you don’t get a fresh bag of pot just to look at it. After the point when you are harvesting the marijuana, the production of cannabinoids and resins will stop, and the potency of the product will only decrease from then on. The process of drying your marijuana will slow down these effects, allowing the end product to maintain its potency far more effectively. A dried plant will burn more evenly, thus making it a great smoke.

If you really cannot wait much longer, here are some tips that you can do to quickly dry your marijuana plants.

First is you should hang your marijuana plants upside down in a room that is dark and then you have to increase the temperature in that room, about more than ninety Fahrenheit or thirty-two degree Celsius. The room where you are going to put the marijuana should have good ventilation but if the buds of your marijuana are packed tightly, then it might take you about less than one week to get them completely dry out. You have to make sure that the heat can reach all of the parts of the marijuana plant equally. By doing this, you can make sure that the quality of your buds will be fine. It would however be better if you will let the bud to dry off in a cool and dark place for about a few weeks.

How Do I Quick-Dry Cannabis

The Oven

If you just need a little amount of marijuana to dry out for your own consumption, you can place a small amount of your cannabis plant on an oven tray or a cookie sheet, place it in the oven and set the oven at about one hundred fifty to two hundred degrees Fahrenheit or about 65 to 95 Celsius, you should let the marijuana stay in the oven for about ten minutes. The product that you are going to get out of this procedure will not be as good as the bud that was dried slowly and carefully.

The Microwave

When used on lower power settings (40-50%) can do an adequate job. Mind you it still tastes like crap and certainly not as potent as air-dried, but in a pinch it will work. Keep an eye on it and go for short 5- 10 second bursts.

Bulb & Foil

This could get dangerous if not watched with the closest eye, but if you want a quick solution, wrap your moist buds in some tin foil and place the foil on a light bulb, making sure to stir the bud every 30 seconds. This should dry your buds in anywhere from 1-3 minutes.

Vape It

Simply the easiest way to smoke fresh weed is through a vaporizer, which bypasses the plant matter anyway to burn only the cannabinoids in your plant. The downside of vaporizers is that it usually costs a lot for a really good one.

A word of  advice – as many will tell you, drying is part of the process of activating the THC in the trichomes. Taking the longer time to completely dry the bud will result in more potent buds than only a partial drying. Simply just being patient and allowing your natural air from in your environment to do its thing with your buds will ensure the integrity and potency of your weed is intact.
